Would it be possible to get a sample before I place my order?

Which sample should I choose?

• Digital print proof ($29): a flat 2D printout of your artwork in CMYK, to check the artwork and basic colors.
• Press proof ($149): a flat printout in CMYK or Pantone colors, made with the production printing method, for an accurate color check.
• Structural sample ($49): an unprinted prototype, to check the size, shape and fit.
• Simplified sample ($89): a basic prototype printed with your design but without special finishes, to see the design on the real box.
• Pre-production sample ($249): made and printed with our production facilities, to see exactly how the colors, finishes and embellishments will look.

Do I get the cost of a sample back?

The cost of a sample is credited toward a qualifying order: from 500 units for the digital print proof, structural sample and simplified sample, and from 1,000 units for the press proof and pre-production sample. Each sample on the samples page shows its own credit. The Standard Sample Kit fee is not credited toward an order.

The Standard Sample Kit

The Standard Sample Kit costs $50, shipping included. It holds different packaging samples, mostly chosen to match your niche or packaging type, so you can see and feel the materials, printing details and construction up close. It is typically dispatched within a few business days and delivered within 7–10 working days.

A sample with my own design and size

Yes. You can request a custom sample, which is billed separately from the Standard Sample Kit. Choose a sample on the samples page or tell us what you need, including the product, the size and your artwork.
