What to Look for in Tissue Paper

Tissue paper is the first layer a customer sees when they open the box, so a few small choices change how the unboxing feels.

  • Sheet size. The sheet must wrap the product with room to fold over. Measure your largest item and add enough on every side to overlap in the middle.
  • Thickness. Thin tissue is soft and light, and it tears if it is rough handled. Ask what weights are possible for your product.
  • Print coverage. An all-over repeat pattern, a logo in the corner or a plain color all look different. A repeat pattern hides folds, and a single logo needs careful placement.
  • Color and opacity. Tissue is slightly see-through, so a dark product shows through a pale sheet. Choose with the product inside.
  • Sealing. A sticker or a label closes the wrap. Decide whether you want to add one.

Where Tissue Paper Is Used

  • Clothing and accessories shops wrapping each item before it goes in a bag or box.
  • Jewelry and gift sellers with delicate pieces that need soft cover.
  • Online stores adding a branded layer inside a mailer or rigid box.
  • Florists and bakeries wrapping small items or lining gift baskets.

Artwork and Printing Tips for Tissue Paper

  • A repeat pattern should work when the sheet is folded and crumpled. Small, evenly spaced marks hide creases, and one big logo can end up folded in half.
  • If you print a single logo, place it near the center of the sheet and keep it far from the edges, so it shows once the sheet is wrapped around the product.
  • Use one or two colors. Light tissue shows a simple print clearly, and a very busy design looks messy when crumpled.
  • Choose colors with the sheet color in mind. A dark print on a dark sheet loses contrast.
  • Tell us your brand colors as Pantone or CMYK values, and we confirm how they are matched on tissue.

Planning Your Order

Wrap your real product in a test sheet and measure the paper you used. Think about how many items you pack a week, because tissue is used up fast, and where you store it flat and dry.

Ask for a sample to see the feel of the paper and the print. The Standard Sample Kit costs $50 with shipping included, and other sample types are listed on the Samples page. Pricing and minimums come with your quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I order custom tissue paper?

Send your size, quantity, delivery location and artwork with a quote request. We prepare pricing based on the size, material, printing, finishing and quantity, and reply within 1 business day. After you approve the layout and artwork, the order goes into production.

How much does custom tissue paper cost?

Pricing depends on the size, quantity, material, printing and finishes. Request a quote and we will prepare pricing for your project.

How long does it take to get custom tissue paper?

Timing depends on the product, the size and the quantity, and it is confirmed with your quote. Production starts once your artwork is approved and payment is received. Delivery usually takes another 4–5 working days, depending on the carrier and your location, so a typical order arrives in about 2 weeks and larger orders take longer. See the turnaround guide.

What size tissue paper should I order?

Wrap your largest product in a test sheet and measure it. The sheet must cover the item and fold over in the middle. Send the size and we confirm what works.

How should I place my logo on tissue paper?

Use a small repeat pattern if you want the brand to show on every fold, or a single logo near the middle of the sheet for a clean look. A repeat pattern forgives crumpling, and a single logo can be folded out of sight. Send us your idea and our free design support places it on the layout.

Will the product show through the tissue?

Tissue is slightly see-through, so a dark product can show through a pale sheet. A sample helps you check.

Is tissue paper safe to wrap food?

Tell us if the tissue will touch food, and we confirm suitable options for your project.
