Materials, Printing and Finishes
Paperboard comes in thicknesses from 300 to 400 gsm depending on size. Rigid boxes are thicker, and corrugated board adds strength for shipping. White SBS paperboard gives high-quality print; brown kraft suits black or white printing.
Print in CMYK for full-color artwork or Pantone for accurate brand colors. Protect the print with a water-based varnish or lamination, then choose matte, glossy, satin or soft touch.

How do I size a box for a tube, bottle or jar?
Measure the product at its tallest and widest points, including any cap or pump, then send the height, width and depth in that order. Our measuring guide shows which side is which, and a structural sample lets you test the fit.
How do I stop the product moving in the box?
Use box inserts shaped to your bottle, jar or tube so it sits upright and snug. Tell us the products and sizes when you request a quote.
Can I print ingredients and usage instructions?
You can print any text and artwork you supply, outside and on the inside for many styles. Cosmetic labeling rules differ by country and state, so check the requirements for your market before you finalize the design.
Which finish suits cosmetic boxes?
