Premium box types
Each box type links to its own page with sizes, materials, printing and finishes. The price shown is the starting price per unit.

Rigid Boxes
Rigid board wrapped in printed paper, ideal for high-end products and gift boxes, in magnetic, drawer, shoulder neck, lift-off lid and hinged flip lid styles.

Two Piece Foldable
A tray and a lid with a double-wall structure, made from paperboard or cardboard. It ships flat, which cuts shipping costs.

Tray & Sleeve Boxes
Also known as drawer packaging: a tray slides out of a sleeve for a slide-open unboxing experience, for lightweight or high-end products.

Custom Shaped Boxes
Hexagonal, triangular, pentagonal, octagonal, pyramid, cube, round, heart-shaped and oval shapes. Tell us the size and quantity and we confirm what is possible.

Which luxury box should I choose?
Start with how you want the box to open.
A magnetic closure
Magnetic closure boxes create a premium unboxing experience. They come fully assembled or collapsible, and the collapsible style folds flat and ships flat to save on shipping.
A slide-out drawer
Rigid drawer boxes (also called match slide boxes) open with custom cut-outs, and ribbons are optional. A tray and sleeve box also gives a slide-open unboxing experience.
A lid that lifts off or a stepped shoulder
Lift-off lid and shoulder neck rigid boxes are two-piece designs. The lift-off lid leaves the base partially exposed for a slightly casual look, and the shoulder neck has a stepped profile and a distinctive silhouette.
A lid that stays attached
A hinged flip lid rigid box is one piece, with an attached lid that flips open and closed for easy access.
Lower shipping cost for the empty boxes
A foldable two piece box ships flat, which cuts shipping costs.
Planning luxury packaging for your product?
Tell us what you sell, its size and how many you need, and we will recommend a box type. You can also order a Standard Sample Kit ($50, shipping included) to see and feel packaging samples first. Rigid boxes, and boxes that ship assembled, may not be in the kit: ask us about rigid samples.
Extras for the box
These items from PacksDo are printed with your brand and go with the box.

Box Inserts
Custom inserts make unboxing more organized and keep multiple items in place.

Packaging Sleeves
Cardboard sleeves, often called belly bands, add branding and an extra layer of security, and can refresh an existing box.

Paper Bags
Ribbon handle paper bags suit lightweight, high-end products. Rope, twisted, die-cut, flat and handleless styles are also available.

Cards & Flyers
Flat cards, flyers and header cards. A thank-you note leaves a positive impression and encourages repeat customers.

Stickers & Labels
Custom stickers and labels add information and brand recognition. Choose from die cut, kiss cut, roll and sheet styles.
Finishes that make packaging feel premium
Finishes change how a box looks and feels in the hand. These are the surface finishes we offer.
- MatteA smooth, non-reflective surface with a softer look.
- GlossyGlossy and reflective. This surface tends to highlight fingerprints more.
- SatinSemi-glossy, a balance between a matte and a glossy look.
- Soft touchLooks like matte, but feels soft and velvety to the touch.
Add-on finishes
Foil stamping, embossing or debossing and spot UV are available on rigid, tray and sleeve and two piece boxes, and window patching too. Ask for them in your quote.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is luxury packaging?
Luxury packaging is premium packaging for products that are sold as gifts or at a high price. At PacksDo it is mostly rigid boxes, which are made from rigid board wrapped in printed paper, along with tray and sleeve boxes and two piece boxes, printed with your brand.
Which box type is best for luxury packaging?
Rigid boxes are made for high-end products and gift boxes. Choose a magnetic closure, a slide-out drawer, a lift-off lid, a shoulder neck or a hinged flip lid. Tray and sleeve boxes and foldable two piece boxes are other options. The guide above matches each look to a box type, and we confirm the best fit with your quote.
Which finishes can I add to luxury packaging?
Matte, glossy, satin and soft touch surface finishes are available. Foil stamping, embossing or debossing and spot UV can be added to boxes, and window patching is available on boxes too. Ask for the finishes you want when you request a quote.
What is the minimum order quantity and price?
Rigid boxes start from 50 units. Tray and sleeve boxes and foldable two piece boxes start from 100 units. The box type pages show starting prices per unit, and the final price depends on the size, quantity, material, printing and finishes. Quotes include shipping.
Can I order a sample before a full order?
Yes. The Standard Sample Kit holds different packaging samples, mostly chosen to match your niche or packaging type, so you can see the materials, printing details and construction up close. You can also order a structural sample, an unprinted prototype that shows the size and form of your box. The kit may not include rigid boxes or boxes that ship assembled: ask us about rigid samples. See the samples page for every sample type.
How long does it take to get luxury packaging?
Production at PacksDo usually takes 5–7 working days, and 16–21 working days for larger orders. It starts once your artwork is approved and payment is received. Delivery usually takes another 4–5 working days, depending on the carrier and your location, so a typical order arrives in about 2 weeks and larger orders take longer. See the turnaround guide.
