Rush Orders
Can I get my order faster?
We can sometimes accommodate rush orders, but it depends on how busy we are and whether we have the right packaging materials on hand.
To see if we can rush your order, please contact us. We'll be happy to check our availability and let you know if it's possible.
A rush order is an order that needs to arrive sooner than our standard timing. Some deadlines are fixed, such as a product launch, a trade show or a holiday, so it is worth asking early. This page explains what we look at, what to tell us and how to give your order the best chance.
What decides whether we can rush your order
- How busy production is at the time
- Whether the packaging materials you chose are on hand
- The product, size, quantity and finishes. A simpler order is easier to move forward than a complex one.
We cannot promise a rush before we check. Each case is different, so we look at yours and tell you honestly whether it is possible.
Our expedited service: rush production and express shipping
For orders shipping within the United States and Canada, we offer an expedited service that combines rush production with express shipping. We check each order before we agree to it, so it is never promised in advance.
- The extra cost is quoted per order and shown in your quote before you approve it.
- The delivery date is confirmed in your quote. We do not give a fixed number of days, because it depends on the order.
- Production starts once your artwork is approved and payment is received.
- Carrier delays, weather and customs are outside our control, and expedited service does not remove them.
How to ask for a rush order
- Tell us your deadline when you request a quote, or call us.
- Share the product, size and quantity you need.
- Tell us the date you need the packaging delivered, not only the date you need it made. Delivery time is added on top of production time.
- Tell us if you are flexible on material or finish. A material we already have on hand can help.
We check availability and let you know if it is possible. If a faster turnaround changes the price, it is shown in your quote before you approve it.
Compared with our standard timing
Production usually takes 5–7 working days, plus 4–5 working days for delivery. Larger or more complex orders can take longer, and we confirm the date in your quote. See turn around time for the full picture.
What starts the clock
Production starts once your artwork is approved and payment is received. That is true for a rush order too. The sooner both are done, the sooner your order can start.
Plan ahead where you can
- Send your artwork early, in the right size and in CMYK or Pantone colors, so it needs no corrections.
- Approve the proof quickly. Every day it waits is a day production cannot start. See artwork and proofs.
- Pay the invoice or payment link (PayPal is accepted), or send the bank transfer, as soon as you approve the quote.
- Use our free dieline templates to set up your artwork at the right size the first time.
- Do not change the design, size or material after the quote is approved. Changes can restart the schedule.
Common mistakes
- Asking about a rush after the artwork is already approved. Tell us your deadline at the very start.
- Giving the date you need the packaging made, and forgetting delivery time.
- Assuming a rush is automatic. We have to check each one.
